Robert Morcos is the founder and CEO of NEXA (formerly Social Mobile). A leading provider of enterprise mobility solutions, NEXA has deployed over 24 million devices globally across all industries including healthcare, transportation, retail, and defense. The company, founded in 2011 with no external capital, has since scaled into a global business with operations in the U.S., India, Europe, and Asia. To this day, NEXA remains a family-owned and operated business.

Robert has been active in the technology industry since he was 15 years old and is widely regarded as a thought leader in his field. He has authored patents for innovative devices and was awarded Android Innovator of the Year by Google. He regularly contributes to publications such as Fortune, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and Newsweek, and speaks at industry events that feature some of the world’s largest tech companies. Currently, he is focused on reshoring technology design and helping decrease domestic reliance on an often turbulent global supply chain.

Robert serves on several Boards of Directors, is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Miami Chapter, and was named as EY Entrepreneur of the Year Florida and one of South Florida Business Journal’s 40 under 40.

Raised in Miami, Robert attended Florida State University on an academic scholarship. As part of his overall passion for reducing the digital divide, he is always looking for opportunities to provide digital access to disadvantaged communities.

Junior Achievement (JA)

Robert sits on the board of Junior Achievement and regularly hosts students at NEXA’s HQ. Most recently, we welcomed McArthur High School students for Job Shadow Day, offering hands-on exposure to technology, entrepreneurship, and real-world career paths through conversations, activities, and a behind-the-scenes look at our work.

Mobile School Pantry – Gobble Giveaway

NEXA proudly participated in Mobile School Pantry’s 13th Annual Gobble Giveaway, raising $20,000 and helping provide Thanksgiving meals for 285 families. Twice a year, we close the office so our entire team can serve together—a tradition rooted in giving back to our community.

Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO)

Robert is a member of the YPO Miami Chapter, part of a global peer community of chief executives under 45. Through forums and curated experiences, YPO creates space for leaders to learn from one another and grow both personally and professionally.

Robert was proud to serve on the Event Leadership Committee for the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball, supporting Andrew Koenig and helping raise a record-setting amount for an important cause dedicated to heart health and research.
